On November 25th 2019, the PhD students from the 1st call of UPtoPARIS programme attended the training course on international mobility organized by the ABG Association.
According to the ABG Association, deciding to work abroad involves a specific preparation on both personal and professional levels:
– personal: identification of motivations and constraints
– professional: identification of employers and mobility programmes This preparation shouldn’t be restricted to the mobility period and should include the preparation of the return mobility. This workshop aims at giving methods and tools to implement a successful mobility project based on the personnality and professional goals. Advice and information are given during this training for a selection of countries, among the most attractive for researchers’ mobility (USA, Great-Britain, Germany and Japan).
